As autumn and longer evenings are with us, it is the perfect time to focus on our wellbeing in preparation for winter months. With every day stresses and anxieties, we can look to reflexology to make a positive difference to our emotional and physical health.
Reflexology is a wonderful therapy that addresses so many aspects our of health. Anxiety is one example of how reflexology "levels out" the nervous system and creates a feeling of deep calm and stillness. It is also a great immunity booster.
The theory behind reflexology is that it "resets" the body to its natural balance. Usually after a treatment, tension may be reduced and you will certainly feel relaxed. You might also notice yourself sleeping better and find your mood and sense of wellbeing improving. You may also find that other aspects of health improve (sleep, for example); however, this happens on an individual basis.
